Vocalist Audition Requirements

1. Video recording of songs from multiple genres (must include both pop and rock) and multiple time periods (70s, 90s, current, etc). We suggest you create a compilation video at least 2 minutes long (or send in separate videos) of excerpts from multiple different songs. Please include a verse and chorus from at least 3 different songs, but the more the merrier!

• For the the Spring 2026 season, lead alto vocalist possible repertoire is as follows and highly encouraged in your audition submission:

• “Born This Way” Lady Gaga

• “I’m Every Woman” Chaka Khan/Whitney Houston

• “We are Family” Sister Sledge

• “Flowers” Miley Cyrus

• Backing accompaniment/audio is required, but is singer’s choice

• Please do NOT submit a cappella audition tracks

• Stage presence and charisma is just as important as vocal ability for this group – show us what you got!

2. Performance Resume (including your vocal range)

We accept auditions on a rolling basis. To submit an audition tape, please email personnel@denverrockorchestra.org. If needed, we can provide a Google Drive link to upload your video recording(s) and performance resume.

All other voice part positions beyond those listed above are currently filled. If you would like to join our substitute/wait list, please email an audition tape to personnel@denverrockorchestra.org.
